Yoga Classes
Andrea’s classes are based on the Hatha style of Yoga, incorporating a flowing transition from posture to posture. This ensures that a gentle focus is maintained throughout the class and maximises the benefits of strengthening and stretching the body as well as calming and relaxing the mind.
Andrea draws on her Counselling background to bring awareness to the psychological aspects of Yoga postures, as well as breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation. In this way, the benefits of Yoga practice extend beyond the class into daily life, bringing deeper peace of mind and happiness to the student and all those with whom he/she comes in contact.
Classes are taught in a way that accommodates all levels of practice, from beginner to more experienced practitioners.
